Vaya... hemos decidido volver el mismo dia o al menos eso parece...
Que tal la vida? Como va ese veranito? Ya veo que deciste pasarte por Venecia en plena temporada en vez de hacerme caso a mi y viajar en invierno... la proxima vez que vayas para alla dimelo que te dire el sitio perfecto donde quedarte...
Y bueno.. la foto genial... muy poetica... el artista en San Marco rodeado por las almas en pena de turistas americanos..

Much, much better than the usual
soft and boring sets that are currently being sold as birth package at the american hospital Isanbul.
You should talk to their administratition and ask them to offer your
services as alternative to their current photographer. Something tells
me that a bit more realism can work in this field.

Great story.. we have quite a few of those in Turkey, some of them have been restored to their former glory (actually, no doubt they look much better now) and are catering the needs of spoiled tourists instead of merchants..
Beautiful places, great composition.

Kambiz.. if you ever go to Harlem look him up hanging out in 125 str... he's the coolest guy you'll ever meet... and an attitude as well!
When I asked him if he wouldn't mind for me to take some shots he said: Look, I have been photographed by GQ, Playboy and National Geographic... but I have never been photographed by YOU so go ahead and let's go have a drink afterwards...
Now... is that cool or what?

Vaya estampa Kike...
Los tenemos a todos. La joven que agobiada recibe un abrazo de su novio (han perdido el tren a Sevilla y se les ha estropeado el fin de semana romantico), los tres abueletes que lejos de ir a ningun lado, reflexionan pacientemente sobre la evolucion de la sociedad actual, la mujer madura que ha decidido que ya esta bien de aguantar los maltratos del borrachuzo de su marido y se va a vivir con sus hijos a Malaga, la gordita que se promete a si misma que este es el ultimo bocadillo de Revilla que se zampa antes de empezar la dieta South Beach...
Estampas de una Espana a la que hecho terriblemente de menos.

Como olvidarme del perro gamba?? fue una de las primas fotos que te comente...
Aqui estoy de nuevo, perdonadme la ausencia... llevo un par de meses liadisimo y con viajes. Camara nueva y un monton de fotos.. vamos a ver si tengo tiempo de ir subiendolas de una en una.

Hola Kike... mucha campana y mucha leche pero al final los de Telefonica son mucho peores que los de Turk Telekom... y encima estos de aqui tienen mucho menos aires. A los espanoles nos falta un poco de humildad... enfin.
Gracias por tu breve comentario (:-))... me alegra el poder despertar esa reaccion en el observador.. ahora bien, con tu permiso, debo corregirte ligeramente en lo referente a la comunicacion. Sus miradas lo dicen todo, tienes razon, ahora bien, el resto de su lenguaje corporal es completamente distinto y ahi encuentras la causa de muchas de las tragedias que vivimos dia a dia aquellos que nos involucramos en esta tarea tan ingrata. Y te digo lo mismo que le dije ayer a otra usuaria de usefilm.. Los mayoria de los humanos no entendemos no solo a los perros sino a los animales en general. Cuando ellos nos indican que tienen miedo, nosotros vemos agresion, cuando ellos nos indican alegria y ganas de vivir, nosotros vemos un perro pesado que no nos deja en paz, cuando nos indican que estan enfermos, nosotros pensamos que estan tristes y ya se les pasara, cuando ellos nos intentan proteger, nosotros les castigamos y, en muchas ocasiones, quitamos de en medio.
El mal entendimiento entre animales los humanos es la principal razon por la cual mucha gente los abandona, o peor... Es nuestra obligacion hacer un esfuerzo y aprender su lenguage. Dejame que te recomiende un buen libro:

Quick comment.. I have read some reports on the galgo situation in Spain, however, those are isolated cases, the situation is not insitutionalized. The spanish government does not condone the killing of dogs. The Turkish government does.
Unfortunately, here in Turkey, until very recently there were no laws regulating animal wellfare.. even now that the law has been passed there is not a clear procedure to apply it.. so the killings continue. And I am not talking a dozen of dogs.. but hundreds.. and hundreds.. and then some!
