The canadian flag looks so nice next to your name, nice colours. Yep having a real winter in Mpls, good cold temps, about 10" of snow and beautiful Christmas scenery, but don't ask me in March how I'm liking winter. Merry Christmas and keep "shooting" them deer, its open season all year for digital.

Thanks for your recent comment on one of my photos, this one intrigues me, was this a photo of existing art or did you take a photo and made it look like a painting. Very nice either way.

I don't know if I had Christo in mind at the time, but it does have his style, liked the bright orange against low light background. I do have a shot posted called Christo's first exhibit, probably under abstracts of my portfolio, I think you'll get a chunkle out of that as well. Thanks for the comment

Nice effect, what did you do to get the "glazed" look?

Salmon on the rocks so to speak. Good capture, the stark lines of the skeleton and the warm round rocks make an excellent contrast. Enjoy your work very much.

Very nice and well seen abstract, love simplicity and just a few colors in architectural abstracts.

I only get about half your comments in English, translation software is not great, but I thought you asked if the shot was a multiple exposure. Anyway I took no offense, glad you like and appreciate your comments.

I glad you liked...one of my recent favs but didn't seem to get much reaction when posted... think there are alot of photo purists that don't appreciate manipulating photos in the Software world, but for me Photoshop lets me be an "artist" that I didn't always get to do just taking photos.

Like your portfolio, you take a real variety of shots and do them well.

Paul, looks like you spent your time wisely in Minneapolis, I just visited the Weisman this weekend and regretted not bringing in my camera, did you like the Russian art? Paul, what do you do that brings you to many far flung locales?

Vanishing Point...feels like you are floating on air, very nice. I differ with Kevin, what makes it work for me is that there is nothing connecting this, makes it dreamlike and like how the slightly darker fog hourglasses away from the center. Its a seven in my book.

Nice shot, very moody, i thought from the thumbnail that would be a young Bob Dylan... check out a photo I posted today, birchin' shot... taken up the road at John Laatsch state park, not the easiest place to find, and one hellvua hike up but great views, like the one here.

Ah, one of the places I must visit before the last frame is shot (so to speak)....the two furthest monuments seem almost unreal or like a painted backdrop but I like the effect, overall the lighting seems muted, what time of day did you take this... by the way are you sure that yellow car wasn't on a lily pad once? Since you are in that part of the world are you going to
White Sands in New Mexico, I have never seen a bad photo taken there, course I haven't been there yet.

Are you asking why I photoshopped the original? Here is the original which is nice but I like to "paint" with some of my photos and this was one I liked. I think PS breathed some more excitement into the shot.

Only three a day, you got to quit taking so many photos. I hear you travel around in motor home and take photos, how do I get a gig like that? If nothing else swing by Minnesota and pick me up, its colder than hell here (probably why I post so many shots...) Always enjoy your comments, but please keep pace :-)
