Super shot! I love the symmetry and the colours, and the way the jetty leads your eye into the picture - I bet you miss Chorley - we've had really heavy rain, and gray skies today!

I really like this image. The title is great. The seagull is sharp and the out of focus fishermen work together to produce a photograph with interest. Regards, Andree

Thanks for your comment on my Great Gull shot Steve, it looks like we both love seabirds! Sadly for me this is a twice-a-year thing. This is a stunning gannet shot, and the framing tops it off to perfection. I haven't got the hang of these 'little touches' yet - thank you for putting ideas into my head!!
Cheers
Steve.

p.s. great work getting AF-lock against a watery background - I know how frustrating that can be!!

Love the details here Steve. Amazing clarity for this action. They are a bit hard to follow when they are on the hunt. But the wing coming out of the frame really makes this fun. You've made the sea-rat a very handsome looking devil. I myself LOVE seagulls - have a certain grace about them and who else can clean the beach like they can for free no less?! Your's look a little different than ours. Again, great shot! I think he smiled for you...
Thanks for your comment elsewhere.

Great architecture and fascinating photo, Steve!

It looks fantastic, the reflection and the complete composition tells me, that it has been created very carefully!

Best wishes

I did not think the converged verticals worked with the image I wanted.

Thanks for your comment Mike!

I am not sure what the image was like before the PS work, but you have brought out a good image, I like the perspective and angle you have taken to capture this.

Thank you Mary - Although it comes nowhere close to your images.
I am glad you like my Moon shots, Steve.
If you do decide to buy a telescope, might I suggest that you investigate first to be sure you get one that suits your particular needs and purposes. There are a lot of scopes sitting in closets as people bought the wrong one for them. A scope can be such a wonderful thing. I bought the wrong one first, but I am stubborn and learned how to use it well. Later I upgraded to the one I have now and love.
