Gorgeous capture Marcus, love that DOF, details, and the background, I saw one of these in my backyard today or a hawk, at least, and tried to get a shot of it but was on the phone and it didn't turn out through the screens.

Congratulations on the award!! Awesome image Marcus, I like the angle of the legs and the angle of the beak...very nice composition, love the details in the plumage, nicely contrasted against the dark background..light and shadows are wonderful...you da best!! 7+ :)

Excellent image, very nice angle with the arm...well composed for the rule of thirds, love the simplicity and the message...backlighting, lines and depth are very nice, makes for a great story telling image...nicely done...:)

Hey Rocky, nice to see you're still taking pictures! I just happened to check in to see what is happening here on UF and saw your picture on the home page, the one of Yabo...some things are not a coincidence, me thinks. I see you're into a new style of photography which is interesting. I like old things and they do often make beautiful photographs...esp. old abandoned cars and rustic farm pieces and buildings. Hi Glenn, I did travel through the area after Charly and it was very sad to see the devastation and destruction, I remember feeling a bit lost because things had changed to the point where I didn't recognize familiar places. I hope to live there again someday, and that the art community is once again thriving, and I think it is. Thanks for the information. Port Charlotte took quite a hit too, were you there then?
