Excellent idea AJ, well realised. Thanks for the explanation too. Hope you didn't make too big a mess!

Nice Larry, even the hairs on the stalks show up well with the backlighting.

I think the composition is just fine the way it is Keven, and you need the bridge to place it as Sydney. Great colours in the sky and the sea, nicely done. You get around a bit don't you!

Spectacular landscape Keven, although the greens are pushed a bit too far for my liking.

Thanks Keven, I hadn't intended it to be a comment on the cricket, but now you mention it the wave is a bit like the Aussie team bearing down relentlessly on the hapless poms ;) No escape!

Very striking abstract Emgy, I think that the colours of the background gives it an underwater feel, and yet that is definately a flower searching for the sun. Maybe it is this conflict of impressions that make this work so well.

Thanks Shirley, mmmm looks like I should have strightened the horizon - never mind, I'll do that if I print it.

Thanks Peter, I love the light at dawn - if only you didn't have to get out of bed so early to see it ;(

Nice one Ali, I like the muted colours in the wall and doors giving it a cool look but then contrasting with the brightness of the light on the bike giving a hint that the temperature might not be so cool after all. The way the spokes shine works well.

Nice strong blues Shirley, you've certainly selected the right category. Funny I don't get a feeling of cold from this at all like some others have, perhaps I'm used to a warmer climate.

Love the look of concentration in its eye, I guess taking off and landing are the most difficult parts of flying. Nicely timed Marcus. Do you shoot in raw mode?
