Thanks Violetta, not only for the comment, but for commenting on one of my older shots and bringing back memories of a lovely spot.

Nice shot Doyle. At first I wondered why you didn't crop out the right side and zoom in a bit closer but looking at it again I think this composition is much better.

With the number of unopened flowers, looks like they'll be around for a while.

Looks like an absolutely fascinating landscape Bogdan, and very well captured. Congrats on the awards.

Congratulations on the BIP Violetta, well deserved. I like the way the eye follows her path along the road to the mystery of what is behind you.

You might like to rotate it a little clockwise to straighten the power pole etc. if you are going to print it.

Very nice Violetta, such lovely colours. I agree with Rick about trimming a little off the top, but I like the swan, it gives a reason for where she is looking.

Very cool looking machine Hugo, didn't you get a complimentary one for your efforts ;(

The photos aren't half bad either, good control of the reflections and the red balances the shot nicely.

While these types of photos aren't really my cup of tea (or I guess that should be coffee) they certainly stand out. I guess that is what they are intended to do - grab the eye of the consumer. They are strong individually and work well together as a triptych. Congratulations on the awards.

By the way, are we getting a third image?

Thanks Hugo, hadn't even considered squaring it but yes I think that would work too. Glad it made you relax - it seems you might need that with your busy life at the moment.

I probably would have cloned out the other arm in the bottom right corner, but otherwise a well composed portrait with good lighting.

Can't help feeling sorry for her future though as I do whenever I see people smoking.

Thanks Marcus, I wonder sometimes why I don't spend more time at a beach, the mornings are so glorious - but then I remember I got up at 4:30 and I don't think I could do that too often.

Excellent image Peter, great details on the feathers and it stands out so well against the white background. Have to feel for the poor thing though, it must be getting cold feet.

Nice one Joel, long enough exposure to give the water a silky feel without being too long to blur the rowboat.

I like your shots that show a little of the birds environment (actually come to think of it I like them all). However in this case I find the trees on the left a bit distracting and would prefer them to be removed. You could crop a bit off the right also but I wouldn't crop as close as in your example, I think it needs a bit of room on the left for the heron to fly into.

Well if you really wanted to move the moon Al, a little PS would do it quite easily but I would be quite happy leaving it were you found it. Very pleasing image, congrats on the BIP.
