Well, hello there old friend! I've been so busy I haven't had any time to comment this week!

This is a lovely shot. Did you do anything to the background or was it a little misty that day? I love the bold colors of the bird against the washed out background. Great capture!

Wow! This is SO BEAUTIFUL Robin! I love the colors and that one perfect water droplet is so perfectly in focus that it looks like it could be a little glass bead. Great job!

Thanks Doyle! I really like the sky too. I think I will leave it in.

As for the horizon, I was back and forth with changing it or not because I took this shot close to the shore on the right and, from that spot, the shore slants up and out so the photo is how it looks from that vantage point (am I making any sense?). Also, the dock in the foreground looked straight to me so I thought if I adjusted the photo that the dock would look crooked and that it would look worse. What do you think?

Thanks Doyle. One thing about this town is that we really do have some of the most beautiful parks that I have ever seen. Most of our parks have these huge trees that have been there for more than 100 years. The leaves all change into the most beautiful colors in the fall. They are really spectacular!

Thanks Sheila. I never once noticed that dead leaf on the right until you mentioned it- now it's the only thing I see! :) Sometimes I wonder how I miss something like that. I think I might work on removing it and then maybe post it again. Thanks for the help!

Very nice. The sepia goes well with the old boat. Did you get to go on the boat? Well seen and captured Doyle!

Very cool Doyle. You did a great job putting this together!

Last time we were in San Francisco we rode our bikes across this bridge. It was very exciting. You and Marlyce should try it next time! :)
