Thanks, Doyle. It didn't turn out too badly...though personally I'm not a fan of the darker image...the noise it brings out is very cool, though.

Thanks for the interpretation...

Attached is the original image. In the notion of honesty I feel compelled to note that I removed the fence and a plot of land I found distracting. I've also adjusted tones blah blah blah. Post completed in PS CS3 and LightRoom.

haha! Actually, this is the art teacher where i work. This shot was taken outside of the elementary school I teach at. I believe Pola was carrying things out to her car when i caught her! I'm sure she would have rather been shopping though!

Thanks Becky...I really do enjoy shooting so, I suppose it's time I stop looking for recognition and post because it makes me happy, eh? I DID sharpen this a tad after I resized to make the frame around the image. One pass of LAB sharpening after said adjustment. As mentioned above, this is a 100% crop from the left-lower corner of a shot of the whole bouquet. I used my 50mm f1.8 lens which, while being made of plastic...REALLY impresses me with its clarity.

Thanks for the comment! :-D

Thanks, Gennaro. This is actually a 100% crop from a shot of the whole bouquet...I liked the detail of the single flower.

Thanks a lot, Dave. I adjusted the corners a little darker after the conversion, but left the tones in the image mostly alone! :-)

I'm glad you like this abstract. I like it, too.

Thanks, Doyle! If I'd have been set-up, I would have done something a bit more creative. As it is, I snapped this one camera in hand walking in to work in the morning. :-D

I think you did an excellent job with this portrait, jimmy. I really like the contrast between the white surround and the detailed, relatively dark face and hair.

Well done! :)
