Anson, you are absolutely right, I will give a try, or at least I will try to tune down for that portion to be blended with the dark background. Thanks for the suggestion!

This was quite unique experiences for me, there are more than 1,000 rooms inside the Palace - only 10~15% opened to the public right now. If you rest well at first day, you shouldn't have major problem during your visit over there... You will feel the spirit...

like the mood and tone...but I feel you might need bit more room on the top and front, it would be even more interesting to get more background lights from the buildings

John, actually I thought just cut off little from the bottom, so the light area at bottom right won't get eye's attention.
Thx for your comments. -Tom

Excellent shot - one of my favorite! You should start on series of the same subject, in this case B/W I feel is much better than color.

it certainly looks better when I print out at 12x12", but I will try on 16x16 or even 20x20", the image has 400MB in size. Thanks for your kind comments.

Thanks for your nice comments, you're right about the smallish size won't feel the true scenry, I printed out at 12x12", it looks wonderful, since I scanned with 4000dpi/16bit, it won't have any problem even print out a larger size (16x16 or 20x20"). -Tom

Like the tone and mood of this wounderful picture, it has bit of oriental taste, you might even can add one red "stamp" at lower left corner.

Yes, this is Lijian, you must spent some time over there. I like the town with these narrow street and old style buldings. I'll upload more imgaes from my trip.
