Thats what I also was supposed to out in the description - I dont think there is enough detail in the tree's. A bit too dark..

Hey Noemi Thanks for your comment.
No not a fisheye, It's a swing lens panoramic, so with the film being bent and the lense swinging around it probably gives that fisheye look to it. :)

Hi John, thanks for your comment. It's just the one shot, it was taken from a swing lens panoramic camera, hence the bend in the horizon.
Regards,
Bryce

Hey everyone, thanks for your comments, and yes i know that there appears to be a tilt, but trust me theres not (as much as it looks like it, i cant blame yous :)) the part you guys are seeing is the rocks leading down to the small point thats there.. the horizon is level it's just too overexposed to see :)

Ardalan, Yeah it's a bit burnt out on the horizon thats because when i started the exposure it wasnt completely dark :)

yeah man, pretty cool shot here. Almost a fisheye feel to it, and with that rock in the foreground i reckon it suits. nice work.

Hey don, being a surfer i'm a barrel man :) And it's purely for that reason that i think this would have been way better if you were positioned slightly more to the right and looking out more, so you have more of the barrel in frame and still some of the beach.. make sense? Anyway thats just one of many opinions :)
And since EVERYONE is doing it thse days, maybe just a bit of Ps work to clean up those, scratches? or bits of whatever in the wave face. Other than that dude you've got a pretty good shot! i'm still trying to get one with a nikonos V and 35mm lense (def not the right gear i know - but u use wat u got) and i know how tough it is!

I like it :), maybe a little too bright in the center, or maybe theres that special something thats missing that would change this from good to great, but nonetheless, it still interests me :)

Hi Bernadette,
'Apparently' that walk is rated as an average difficulty. And it was my first walk ever and it was TOUGH, mainly because it rained thru the sodden loddins :) 8 hours of AT LEAST knee deep mud, on the first of 2 days, was taking its toll with 30kg's on yr back!

Well worth it though, and yes your right, extremely lucky with the weather :) Thanks again

Hi,
did you use the blur tool a tiny bit for this?
I like it :)
I esp love how it's sorta burnt out/bright in the background. Like how it slowly fades away... much like this comment... ;)
