This says so much and really make me want to be sitting there to.
Drinking coffee and watching the world go by.

Thankyou.

Great work.
It bothers me that your images do not get that much attention.
I think people are much to interested in looking at flowers to drop by and see how interesting street photography can be.

Nicely framed and composed.. There is a little reticulation evident which maybe from the scan or from over sharpening.

Nice view and an interesting hue to the sky.
The darker tones are so dark there is little or no detail in the trees though and the image is a little soft. This may be what you were after. i will say though that to me i feel it needs a point of interest or something that takes you into the picture.

Thanks Pete,
I do have a shot of him leaning forward out of the shadow but i chose to have the tuk tuk feature with his smile and not the man himself. Initially i wanted the tuk tuk on it's own but there is a chance the man himself died in the Tsunami i am glad i photographed him.

The symmetry helps make this a quality image, i like the subtle colour and very small depth of field.

A fantastic picture. i very rarely give top marks but i had to with this. i love the angle and the use of space.

The position of the kids body as he carries almost his own body weight in water.

Not forgetting the fact you do not let a bit of water bother you and your camera.

The image says so much. Great work. Well done.

Wow what great framing.. and what action caught.
There is so much going on. I don't know how you feel about digital manipulation but i think the cloning of wing tip on the left would make this great picture even better.

Great work.

Thankyou Carlos, You are too kind.

I can assure you i am not bored of taking pictures. This last week or so i have been sat in a daze watching the news. The catastrophe that has overwhelmed South East Asia is too incredible for words.

Apart from giving money to help the causes i have felt pretty helpless. I quickly put together www.waveaid.net and www.didyousurvive.com in the hope more will give money and that enough assistance gets to those that need it so very much.

I find it hard to grasp that so many of the people in my photos are now dead..

Thankyou for looking. I hope they are remembered.

Wow i thought this was black and white till i clicked on it. Nice lines and very subtle colour. Love the figure in the distance adding a perspective and some human interest.

I have many pix along a similar theme but nothing in a station quite as large.

Great looking dog!

The most important thing with animal portraits is the eyes. If the eyes are out of focus you miss out on capturing the life of the animal and they come across looking a little like a stuffed toy.

I think your auto focus has focused on the nose. Don't be afraid to switch it to manual.

Apart from that the exposure and composition are great. )

Thanks, for all your comments. I don't think anyone has studied my portfolio in such detail.

I honestly think the best way to take a 'good' photo is just to be there. Sounds obvious i know, but have you ever taken a picture in a place you havent been, looking at a scene you have never seen? )
