What a great admirer you are.......
And, I think, even as great as the admired one !

I must say that I haven't got much time to leave many comments to those who regularly support me and, after an as-deep-as-I-could exploration - saying this I realize that I certainly have missed more than what I've seen up to this point so far - I feel quite like choosing wisely today... There can only be one so I've decided that this delicate closeup will be my judicious picture of the day that matters !
A sensible choice in my opinion so thanks for making it possible !

great colors but... how can this be an abstraction ?
don't you think that would be leaving out of consideration the ghostly figure then ?

do you just realize that the most powerful "imagehalucinatingprogram" obviously resides in the pizza-box that's above your shoulders?!

zorki? well... i'm more and more convinced that these russian copies, and not only this one (it's that early leica copy isn't it?) but also the lomo, zenit or kiev cameras, are really some of the most interesting and creative tools......... excellent!!

some would certainly say that this is totally flat and dull and that the subject is uninteresting but i'm not because, at this precise moment, i can easily imagine this picture in a series of sequences showing the evolution of all these ordinary yet usually ignored moments throughout the sheer boredom of an ordinary day in everybody's life... talking about domesticity and giving in depth !!!

ever since i can remember, i've always been joyfully excited (by that, i mean deeply interested, in a good way...) about secrets and wanted to hear others tell their stories... and today, this makes me think that the real interest in telling a secret may well be not to be afraid of stoping breathing as you offer yourself to someone...

and what better way is there than to hide in secrets in order to better reveal ourselves ? keep yours hidden and i won't tell you mine...

laura (your real name is laura isn't it ?), "i'm gonna let you in on a little secret. everyday - once a day - give yourself a present. don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. it could be a new shirt in a men's store, a cat-nap in your office chair, or two cups of hot black coffee"...

and, by the way, memories are immune from regression...

sometimes i'm glad i'm not an art critic because it allows me to say what i feel and why i like a picture without having to justify myself with some sort of approximations of the actual technical process used to produce the picture (also because you're not giving many clues about this particular point...) and without the need to go back to the history of fauvism in the early last century (could this movement have been a source of inspiration for you ?)... and all this just to say, in a few words, that i like it !

alone as it seems but it makes me think of what Bacon said once...
"light excelleth in comforting the spirits of men."
i hope so...
