So, this is what Blackpool is about? ;-) Nice idea, conveys a sense of location...

Petros, this is because user activity (user comments) has decreased considerably for some time now -- at least in the "fashion" category. I also have the impression that the total number of users that are online (at any time) has also decreased -- again, considerably... less users, less comments.

Sorry, James, didn't intend to hijack your comments page.

A very fine image, beautifully lit... Great tonality... A very fine camera, ain't it? ;-) ... in the hands of a very fine photographer...

Don't like the type though, but that's not your problem, I guess...

Cheers

A strong image, James! Interesting reflection -- very graphic. Congratulations for SC.

Ah yes... probably that's it. It's in this small portion of the face where the pink goes over to the green and becomes orangey... but it's ok, it's just a minor thing... Otherwise: a great, edgy photograph!

This is a bit flat IMO. OK, it's the eighties, and it looks like a shot out of an 80s issue of THE FACE, but you know better...

Nevermind.

One more thing... maybe you should PS your reflection out? (And the ladder in the background...?) - Just an idea.

Hi James,

nice to see you again! This is VERY interesting -- I really like it. Her skin looks a bit irritated though... or is this due to JPEG compression?

Patrick

Just dropped by to say hello. A pity that we haven't seen anything from you for such a long time. You must be busy, I guess.

Would love to see more. (And the others around here too, I'm sure.)

Cheers

Dimitri, what a great idea for an "edgy" fashion shoot! Would you mind if I'd "borrow" your idea? ;-)

Very interesting, Dimitri, I like it!

A pity that we can't see her eyes in the mirror surface, at least one; that would round it up, I guess.

Nice capture, Phil. Very nice DOF and blur to the edges. Not sure about her left hand though (the right from the viewer's perspective): with this position, it looks exaggerated... the more I look at it, the more monstrous it becomes...
