Yes Geza, because I took this photograph in RAW format and if we shoot in jpeg mode its not necessary to touch in PS.
Both the Canon digital rebel and the Nikon D70 are very good cameras and I am sure you will not regret if you choose anyone. But if you are planning to upgrade your system in the near future, then I would recommend you the Canon. The 20D & 1Ds mark II are excellent digital cameras and the Canon L series are the highest quality lens system in 35mm format.

Thanks Geza. In fact the birds are not really very close. I used a zoom lens at 300mm in my Canon 300D camera which has got a 1.6 focal length factor. So it’s actually photographed at 480mm.

Toni, it's simple. In Photoshop, convert the image to grayscale, go to filter, select stylize
and select extrude. Experiment the image with various pixel size and depth to get the desired effect.
