Fantastic sky, the power of it is overwhelming. Surreal lighting, love it. Horizon needs a bit of a rotate to the left.

Love the earthy tones, the detail of the decaying concrete stairs. Such wonderful contrast with the gorgeous long hair cat sitting there apparently unaware of how he stands out against the background.

Oh my, this is beautiful. Excellent capture of the eyelashes, beautiful soft skin tone, nice subtle blur yet the face is in complete focus. Perfect cropping.

I have looked at all your kitten and dog pics and they are so adorable. What fun they must be to watch. They look like best buddies. You have captured some priceless moments.

Surreal with a nuclear feel to it. Don't know why that popped into my head the moment I saw this. Maybe the green tint.

Excellent DOF Gayle. I like your choice of B/W. Fascinating history. I did not know Mother's Day came about in this fashion.

Very gothic from a bygone era, a la 'The Murders in the Rue Morgue'. Bats will soon appear from the dark, ominous sky and zoom around the spires in front of the moon. I can almost hear howling and screams :-). Excellent prespective Ameed. BTW, I was born and raised in Quebec and moved to Ontario when I was 11. If this bleak and dreary snowless Ontario weather ever changes, I shall get out with my camera again. At least you don't have to shovel rain :-).

I love the purple/blue hue of the water that is picked up by the duck's feathers. If the feathers were to have been left 'natural', the white would have been too brilliant. This gives a perfect 'photo-art' look and is not only in keeping with the soft satiny appearance of the water, but also 'The Blue Period'. It is gentle, calming. Lovely work Gayle.

This is simply beautiful Del. The soft muted colours of the amarylis with the backdrop of pristine snow is just gorgeous. Excellent vision.

You blew me away with this one, Ameed! Fantastic soft skin texture and magnificent light contrasting beautifully with the sharp clarity of her hair tendrils. The eye is the pièce de résistance. Superb creativity and presentation. I am a horror fan as well :-).
