Thanks Steve, I love oversaturated and breaking the odd numbers rule.

Thanks, Dan. During the process of playing with this image in PSE3, I used the Smart Blur effect. That is what appears to have made the imperfections that you and Randal find distracting. My problem is that I like the Smart Blur effect, and the odd texture it adds. Too each his own. I appreciate the feedback.

Thank you Filipe for the comment on "Compositional Dream". I did not use a tripod when I shot this.

Hi A.
Thanks for commenting. It is not so sharp as other photos because I chose to use an oil pastel filter. I also chose to let the shadow run out of the frame. The shadow placement at the top was also chosen by me because I like the effect. Again, thanks for your comments.

Thanks! "Maybe not so sharpen"? I used an Oil Pastel filter to soften the overall effect.

Diego, I am not sure what you want to use the image for. I need to know that. Thanks.

Thanks for the comment Paul! I like the shape of the blue sky area that I left in the photo, and that's what works for my original vision.

Thanks for liking it. Flash? You mean the reflection of the sun? It was shot outside, and I know many people want reflections cloned out. But, not me.

Thank you, La Donna. In PS Elements 2, there is an effect called oil paint. This is the one I applied after the image was cropped and resized for the web.

Thank you to everyone who has commented on this image! I never expected so much. This image has been posted before, but without the sky, and less saturation. I was just playing around with it again a couple of nights ago, and I agree that it is now over-processed. I would need to go back to the original image that was shot, and do some new processing. This one has been processed and saved about 3 or 4 times, so the quality is suffering. Again, thanks for the comments.

John,
So simple, and so dramatic, perfect use of color and shape, and composition once again.

Another excellent one, maybe one of my favorites. Do you like Pete Turners' work?

John,
Yes, I think we do share the same interest in detaila of light, shadow, color, and shape, with dramatic composition. This is great!
Thank for visiting my photos.

Thanks, Miranda. I like that term "cartoonish". I didn't really realize that was what I was doing, but it makes sense that I would since I love old cartoons too.

Wow! This is a fantastic shot. The perfect combination of lens, shutter speed, and film.
Nicely seen and presented.
