this project is about the complexities of the skin, textures, imperfections etc. I use a large format camera to accentuate that. Not really meant to be pretty at all, the rawness of the human face.

the trick is to hold really still, for this one I had to hold my eyes open as the scanner passed over that area. very easy proecess and I just do it until I get a good one

water looks amazing close up. keep doing these. try some with a fast shutter speed, and if possible, medium format looks amazing in this situation. lovely colors

gorgeous spot, you should try one cropping out the sky as well, the waterlillies themselves are dynamic enough to get a great shot I'd imagine

It's actually 3 different sheep. It's a project I'm currently working on as my undergraduate thesis, using animals as landscape elements. Most are of cows, check out my other photos, they're a little more obvious.
