I'm sorry... of late, I've been lazy about updating info on the photos. This was with my 75-300mm. This is taken at Sultanpur bird sanctuary which is 5-10Kms from Gurgaon. It's a bit tougher to photograph here since the birds stay a little far way from the banks of the lake.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on the photos.

Thanks Dave for taking the time to answer my question. I'll go to a different photo print shop. I wanted to confirm that would help.

beautiful photo. The over exposed area on the left corner is great... makes it look as if light is coming from there.

great composition. A friend and I were recently discussing the use of wide angle lenses and pointing them down to give extra space in the foreground. I love the way you have done that in this photo to get a great effect.

Thanks for your kind comment. It helps to be photographing Ephesus in winter when there aren't too many tourists around :)

Some photographers frame the photo such that a part of the photo spills out... maybe you'd like to try that in this photo. The elbows actually coming out of the frame (above the black border) may be quite cool. Just a suggestion

It feels a bit tilted. Maybe you need to rotate it clockwise.

Wow... perfect colors. Extremely pretty. Have you done any post processing?
The colors are just lovely. Congratulations. I love the line of trees on the left in the picture with blue sky.

Nice picture. I love the sharpness in the dew and insect. I only have a couple of suggestions here-
The picture could have been framed better with the bigger flower completely in the picture as well as the part of the branch on top. Secondly, you could have managed a better focus on the bigger flower by either increasing the depth of field (smaller aperture) or by moving such that both flowers come in the same plane (same distance from the camera).

You needed a flash for this one to fill-in light on the person's face. The person is under-exposed because the camera's sensor got fooled by the ambient light.
