Chris, Jonothan,

I moved the camera with 1/15 sec to and fro like she was moving on the swing. So nothing was alterated in PS afterwards, everything is handmade

maybe the tones are in the scan not optimal. but the print has pure whites for example in the cigarettes and blacks in the car

Hi Giuliano,

why do you find this tonal range unusual for film. in my opinion nothing can make more tonal range than film the most important thing for good tones is a well developed negative. I develop the trix in Kodak D 76 1:1 and for 400 asa 13 min, first minute agitation and then every minute 4 times agitation.

best regards

the film is developed in Kodak D 76. unfortunately I forgot to mix the half with water, so I had to develop shorter than normal a 800 ASA film. It was about 10 min.

Hi Jiri, no, I?m not a left-handed person

1. I shoot with my hassi only from stativ if the shutterspeed would be only 1/30 sec or less. if the shutterspeed is only 1/15 or less I make the pre-release. the mirror opens so powerful, so that I would get blurry negatives.

2. My largest print was 40x40 cm. but for making webscans I only make prints on 24x30 paper cause of the small surface of the scanner. the scanner is the epson perfection 4870 photo.

best regards

Jiri, this lens is the M 2.0 / 35 mm for using on M-leica cameras. I don?t know, if it is comatible on other cameras. maybe there are adapter available. The TriX was exposed at ISO 400. The next time shooting in this club I will try to push the film to 1600 ISO.

best regards
Jörn

If you have an iron or plastic masking-band you can file the edges to get these frayed and unregular edges. this makes your frame as your personal one. this is an unicum. there would be no other frame looks like yours

Hi Jiri,
the frame is on the baryt. I made it in my darkroom with my enlarger. the dark frame ist from the negative and the edge from the filed negativeholder. No ps, just handcraft
