Hi there,

Like it indeed. Especially because of the man walking by on the left. Nice!

Hi there,

Like it indeed. Maybe you could have just put the 'legs' even more into the right hand corner?

Hi there,

Maybe you could have used the lines of the net to more accentuate the lines of the models body? Now she's just holding the net...

Hi Rob,
Again, have you considered cropping your image, so that a lot of 'rumour' in the upper half gets cut off and the bird isn't exactly in the middle of your image?

Hi Rob,
Nice picture. Two things: 1) have you considered placing the windmill out off center? 2) have you considered zooming out, so that the reflection in the water is complete?

Hi Robin, Nice picture indeed! Apparently there were some twiggs between you and the subject, but nice indeed. BTW 500mm... that's a lot!

Hi Rick, I agree with you that if taken at a wider angle, the vastness of the dark, frozen lake would have enforeced the atmosphere.

Ha! I know that windmill! Quite different from my picture of the same subject. You might have considered using a larger aperture, in order to fade background. Well done though!

Hi there, the suggestions I would like to make: use flash in order to freeze the butterfly and use a very low aperture in order to better fade the background, which now is still rather prominent. Finally, the left part of the frame isn't contributing to the scene, so try and crop it. (cover the left part with your hand, and you'll see what I mean).

Hi there, very nice composition! The only comment I can think of: next time less harsh light conditions (early morning or evening) in order to get the whites and blacks slightly better. Great shot anyway.

Hi, well seen indeed! The PSP pimping shouldn't be necessary with this subject imho.

Hi there, Normally I don't like PSP-ed photo's but this one is absolutely an exception to (my) rule! The faded area's do emphasize the curved line very nicely. Super.

Hi there, Well done indeed. That's really what USE FILM should be all about! The only critique I can think of is that you could have taken the picture in less harsh light conditions so that you wouldn't have the light area on the grass. But fine none the less.

Hi there, well... too artificial to call it a photograph to me. But I suppose that's why others call me conservative in these matters ;-)

Hi there, just one question: was this point of view better than exactly in the middle of the qay (with the lanterns exactly in line)?

Hi there, nice subject and composition. Too bad you had to do an extreme makeover of it with PSP or something alike... I'd say: if your subject and framing is that good, don't go messing it up like it's been shot on Pluto...
