A window into the mysterious world of the puddle. Nicely seen and executed Teresa.

Thanks Shirley, actually it was interesting watching it remove the fish from its beak and eventually swallow it.

Nice one David, an effective abstract look. I keep looking for the differences in the rooms some with doors open, some not.

Thanks for your comments and story Cathy, we've had a few types of birds as pets over the years but never lorikeets.

Perfect choice of background, really enhances the colours of the swallow.

This works well overall as an abstract and also at the detail level showing fine features you don't notice with your eyes. Nice one Hussam.

Cheers Ivona, yes it is a type of lizard. You would probably need a reptile licence to have one as a pet here but I guess it could be done.

Thanks J, yes they are interesting looking, bizarre even. I was surprised at how well it came out given that it was taken at an angle through glass of a display case at the Alice Springs Desert Park.

Thaks Hussam, absolutely it is real. I did cheat a little though as this was taken through glass in the nocturnal area at the Alice Springs Desert Park.

Thanks Ivona, it was the first time for me, I will go back sometime for a less rushed visit. I've enjoyed browsing your portfolio, some very imaginitive work.

Hi Micky, No I've never been to Molesworth looks like it would be an interesting trip. I checked out the web, the accomodation house is 140 years old - not bad for a cob structure - they sure knew how to build them in those days.

Judging by the stillness of the water, standing is about all they could do ;)

Nice contrast with the brightness of the sails against the dull sky and water.

Nice Shirley, this sort of jumps out of the thumbnails as being something different, and lives up to its promise. Nice job.
