funny, the part about "wanting to see more detail to go with" because the point of image is to use your imagination and to let your mind fill in the blanks,Randy--------but nice of you to comment and still waiting for that email bye,meg

I like the perspective, but feel that the blue colorcast is a bit too much and I can see the color fringing in several places-----I am new here,so still learning about this site and hope I am not offending you with my critiques-----bye,meg

Thanks for tips and comment, but i use film, not a digital and i handhold balanced on post or just close to my body-----the sun was already down and i took this without a flash and just enough of that last light around after sunset-----maybe a longer shutterspeed would have worked better, but i think the colors and reflections came out well

so sorry,Mary-----didn't mean any disrespect-----am brand new here and Jim has been so kind to me-----he seems to be sincere even if he is a bit full of himself at times judging from the short time of our exchanges-----he probably loves your style of photography which has more uniqueness than his and maybe doesn't know how to let you know-----anyway,just a guess and keep up the unique work! bye,meg

funny guy,Jim! i live in the PNW and have for several years now------originally from WA but got to choose where i wanted to go to college and chose Penn-------don't mean to toot my own horn, but also won a scholastic honor prize to study in Europe at Oxford------perhaps you have heard of it? More rain than my own state, and too many men into wearing ladies clothing, but to each their own------seems we have much in common bye,meg

hi and thanks for comment on my first upload with ----the documentary approach with this tone is very appealing----quite contrasty, but assume it was your intent and seems to work here-----love the about which provides insight into why this image means something to you------good choice of DOF showing the background details----good work,Roland bye,meg

hi,i just posted my first image on UF moments ago and saw this one on new photos page----gorgeous scenic with good foreground interest (the rippled crystal clear water) and nice reflections---the haze in background looks like what i see often on the mts. here in WA state----bye,meg
