kekeke... if you'd taken off the bag or sheet, would it still be a 'personal record'? ;) The positive, of course, is being able to turn self-mutilation into art...

Oh, and thanks for the year reminder too... I was 14 in 1984, in Year 9 at Mt Druitt High... nothing good happened that year!

I recognise Liz's name there, I'll have to look up the others and keep my eye out for the goodies. If I miss anything, come give me a nudge!

"I DO believe in Marcus!" x 3 actually works, hehehe! Plus, I think that's gotta be the longest as@ kissing comment I've ever had. I'm flattered, thank you gorgeous.

But shhhh... don't let your homies hear you talking like that, they'll start to think you're human ;)

Good grief man, lucky you didn't take it off completely. But trust you to turn it into a positive. Love the presentation.

Yeah, isn't that just crazy? Something about keeping the main subject in either the left or right third providing a 'flow'... I dunno, probably wasn't paying much attention. These days I pull down the cone of silence if I hear anyone talking rules... f**k that

Not sure Mr Armani appears unless he's being insulted, or, you clap three times and repeat: "I DO believe in Marcus! I DO believe in Marcus! I DO believe in Marcus!"

Excellent mood to this one. Love the tonal treatment and the subtle vignetting.

What an amazing experience you must have had. I'm green with envy :)

Thanks :) You know, some places have stirring views, but not all views make stirring photographs. Know what I mean?

Couldn't agree more Andre. There's freshness and life in Randee's work, even when images are meant to be sombre.

Yep, I could tell from the thumbnail I was going to love this. Great 70's polaroid colour treatment. Gives it a wonderfully quirky feel.

I'm a huge fan of the dark vignette and I think it works well here. Particularly as the colours in the image are pale, it needs something to make it 'pop' against a grey usefilm background.

Great composition and choice of tones Randee. Love that reflection.

Well, not exactly "no processing" as I had to clean up sensor dust and add a touch more contrast. What I meant was that I hadn't applied any arty/painterly software filters over a straight image. You'd be surprised how many people would think it was photoshopped digital art instead of photography...

Anyways, thanks for the nudge. Nice to hear from such a famous internet celebrity! ;P

So far, my year's been pretty hectic. Hope all is well with you!

Love it Andre! What a beautiful, happy accident. Wonderful streaks of light and colour. Sharpness is such a bourjois concept.

You should have accidents more often ;)
