Wow, I used to get the same sunsets going over Johnsons bridge in Perdido Key.

Thanks Jim. In the future I will try that. In this case I wasn't really planning on taking a photo of the car that night but as I walked by the road I saw an opportunity for a unique capture. I want to get one of my buddy's cars in a couple night shots since mine isn't as "flashy" as theirs.

Very nice with the stars. Perhaps you could have used a reflector to get a wee bit of detail in the car but that's being nit picky. I like this shot a lot.

A solid shot. Simple and effective. You could concider levelling the road a bit, it's slightly skewed and a bit concave. I think straightening it out could increase the impact. Nice shot, though.

Cheers,

Hugo

Thanks Anindya. It was just an experiment to see how 800 iso will work...it kinda worked out

serene, excellent shot. 7/7. Only one question why you used so high iso for long shutter :).

Very nice Dan,
Now I know why my last landscape caught your eye. Funny how sometimes a portrait format just seems right for certain landscape images.

Thanks Ian, I was never really a "water person" but still an adrenaline junkie non the less..I could still imagine how much fun it would be to ride out there.

Great photo, and MY kinda weather! Reminds me of my youth in Cornwall. Whenever there was a storm coming, my mates and I would be down BY the waterside, or in it!!

Much appreciated Julie! An opportunity to take a photo with two birds talking to each other like this doesn't come around too often and I'm glad I was able to capture it.
