Nice balance and composition, Jarrod.
I have to tell you that you shoot well beyond your years might indicate. You've got a GOOD eye!

This is a great place to learn, look hard at what you see. This is a great picture, I like the different colors and shades, then man adds interest, great perspective, excellent job.
I like to walk around and look at things in different perspectives. Good luck with your future.

It did work out fine, better than fine! The only thing I would correct is the tilt on the platform. But definitely leave in the man on the right, in my opinion anyway. Thanks for the comment, rhonda

Thank you Kelly. And yes, it is Chicago the Belmont stop on the red line. I have a point and shoot now so I am going to move on to bigger and better things.

Jarrod, for a point and shoot camera you have talent! This is pretty well composed. The only thing I would have done is cropped it just a tad as it is slightly crooked - or it's an optical illusion. At any rate - keep shooting! Is this Chicago? TERRIFIC!

Thank you Ralph I dont mind at all. I was speaking to a photographer the other day and he said the same thing but with one adjustment. He said I should keep the man that smoking in there and take out all the dark space. Please post and say what you think I should crop or correct.

The image is very good as well the photoshop work. The only thing I would is crop tighter. I hope you don't mind, I did a little tightger crop. I used the light posts more as a framing tool. I felt the stuff on the side was a distraction and it took away from the composition. This just a very minor suggestion. Nice work.

Jarrod,

Nice capture here, the lighting is good as is the comp. The horzion is tilted and that throws off the image but reading your comments I understand why it happened. Welcome to USEFILM and keep shooting.
