Dear Ali,
You captured the most beloved symbol to all Mosulanian! “The Tilt”, or the transliteration, El-Hadbah, became the nick name of the city of Mosul a long time ago. I must admit this picture was taken from a very good angel that shows the other side of the city across Tigers and, the Old Bridge I think is shown, one think I learned from my Mosulanian’s teacher and mentor Cofadees, very well known photographer, he said: if you want to capture El-Hadbah you have to stand where the curve of the structure is the most obvious. And you did but, why you tilt the camera dear friend? Please allow me to tilt it back to show what “The Tilt” El-Hadbah mean.
