Wonderful macro shot .. i have been taking pictures of a spider recently .. scared stiff of them and every time it moved i jumped.. nowhere as good as this though..nessa

Great colours and symmetry.There used to be a lot of this species around here but a combination of drought and pesticides have led to their disappearance.A great shame as i enjoyed photographing them...especially very close up on their African shield-like bodies.
