it's indeed a great place (elaphonisi) in the south west of Crete. If you ever visit the island you must go there.

I'm glad that you liked it. I shot this series of compass-shots last year in Skopelos and I used different lighting effects from the PS filters menu. Nothing complicated.
Actually I have no clue about stock photography. You could email me your knowledge and experience on it if you fancy my american friend!

Thank you for your nice comment Annemette. I used PS to add that mythical-mystic atmospheric effect, that I believe it matches the concept of the picture.
...As for the old Gods that you mentioned about... yes, they are comming back!

Thank you Amit. The effect was made using photoshop, indeed. My aim was to add a mystic atmosphere to that ancient temple. You've got a nice portfolio as well.

Very nicely done. I would probably like to see a little light over the subject and maybe a bit more off center. Try darkening the edges for a bit more mood.

Theo my friend, this is an excellent photo. Great mood and atmosphere and nice composition. I might have increased the contrast in the sand area a bit more using the dodge tool.
