Hi Philip - I love this shot for the grain and contrast. Not being a film buff I assume it's a combination of the film used and the processing rather than just one or the other. Love your comments on the children. My daughter rolls her eyes everytime she see a camera these days :-)

Enjoyed strolling through your potfolio.

regards, Graham

Very nice Scott. Your pp work has done these images justice. I like the colours used. Good work mate. How's the bank balance?

Another one in my favourites. The combination of colours, lighting and model and that added soft touch make this a stand out image.

So nice to see wide-angle used for portraits occasionally. I think it brings in so much of the location and setting. Love the treatment here Zelda. Great image.

Very well executed Mikael. I'm intrigued by the fact that she still looks composed and beautiful in the shot despite (I assume) the acrobatics that she is performing for you. Great lighting mate.

Very nice portrait. Lighting is well controlled under the brim of the hat and those red nails positioned there are just perfect. Excellent!

Nice work JJ and the framing is a cool idea.

LOL - just noticed the Google Ad on this page at the moment above your pic. Let me cut and paste.........

Lol - sorry mate, too funny to resist!

Price tag? I see a bikini string and given that no commenter here knows better I think we'll give you the benefit of the doubt mate. Well I have to say that you know how to bring out a mix of comments :-) Me, I like very much, sure it may not be technically perfect but unlike some here your not shooting in a studio and at least it is tasteful. Water looks fabulous and the skin, it's just possible that she has great skin that is even light from a low sun directly to her front. Like I said. Unless you know better guys don't make assumptions.

Yep - great action shot and the fact that the heat haze does not take away all of the sharpness from the aircraft is a real bonus. A 'full flaps' vote from me mate. I'm so jealous of you and Peta. Next time maybe.

The symmetry in this is so close to perfect JJ! Aircraft lovers will really enjoy this image and the fact that it was up and running and producing that lovely heatwave behind tops it off. Congrats.

Wow - is all that comes to mind (and keeps repeating as I look at this image). An astonishing photo Peter. That place must be a marvel to view at this time of year. Inclusion of the family outing is perfect. Congratulations

Classic portrait Marta. The idea of one eye showing between his fingers is inspired. One can only wonder at what this young man has seen. Love it.

If this chap is going hungry I suspect his prorities may be out of whack. He is wearing at least half a cow there :-) As noted above Rod this image is very strong. Black and white is perfect for this and the movement really is the finishing touch. Excellent!

Great series Roby. You must be enjoying springtime in your garden. Keep a seat for me and a glass of wine for when I pop over to say hello :-) Oh almost forgot to congratulate you on the award. Well done!

Interesting shot Scott. Certainly makes one wonder if there is a story behind it. If I may suggest. Your sky is pretty bright and bland and I suspect that your vignetting is trying to combat that issue. I note the trees over the left shoulder of the model. If possible I would have moved to place those trees behind her rather than sky. Just something to watch for.
Now to work out if she is sad or just wants to get to your neck through those bars :-)

Roberto - a fine image to top your great body of work on this site and to accompany your award. Congratulations!
This certainly does convey those lazy almost artic winds that prefer to go straight through you rather than go around you. A very chilly blue image.

How frustrating is that fence! I did Clipsal last year and felt the same disappointment mate. Good sharp shot all the same Jason. These days I just wander around taking pics of the promo girls :-)

Very nice portrait Doyle. No evidence of the fill flash, which is a good thing. I don't know how you feel about PP work but I would have considered bringing the eyes up a just a tad. Personally I love it and you have done well given the difficult background you faced.

I'm having difficulty working out which Lamborghini model that is. Still - like most of them this one is very pleasant on the eye mate. Use of flash has complimented this shot nicely Jason. Well balanced lighting and a nice pose although I would have had her tilt her head the other way to create an 'S' curve. It is usually much more feminine pose.

Perfect title - made me laugh! Good sense of speed in this panned shot Matt. Thanks for commenting on mine and yes I tend to agree on your remark about this subject. Some people just don't understand the joy of dirt bikes mate :-)
Also pleased to see your other fave subject is female portraiture. Me too. I'll take a close look at your portfolio when I get back home to broadband. I'm travelling at the moment and dial-up is driving me mad!
