Probaly named after the enticing scent of this flower. If I could find a women that smelled like that I'd marry her no matter how ugly she is.

I'm involved in a Botanical Sabatical where I photograph native plants and ID them. A friend will by my new plant species photos. The price varied 2 to 15 dollars a photo. I see you live in a different part of the country than I do. So you have lots of new species I have never seen. Just an offer. I would split 50/50.

Your normal woodpecker will eat larva, but the sap sucker laps up the sap and doesn't eat larva.

Black Widow race car has been around for a few years. I think the guy just ran out of interest and there are no close race tracks. So he got his fun out of thie car and looing to pass it on to some other racer.

You do your research very well. I had a chance to own one of these as my first vehicle but instead I chose a 59 Chevy. Now I can use a four wheel drive truck like this one.

Yes this is an American manufacturer. Its was Willy's or Willis the precurser to Jeep. This was like the Cadillac of four wheel drive vehicles.

That could happen at any time. Many of the barns I have photographed are gone. Once they fall its no repeat. If you notice not much is stored in the barn so if it crashed there will be little lost.

I'm just guessing at a short railcar like this would be called a caboose. Its a slang term for the last car on the train.

I am not a Railroad guy and have no clue. My guess is that this is a passenger car. The front and rear were probably for crew to rest and take care of the passengers. Stored drinks food and other stuff for them.

I think most of of our trains come out of the East (Chicago) and thats where the gangs paint them. Almost every Railcar has some sort of markings tags.

Of course it runs, no need for a paint job the trees just scrape off the paint along with the orchard spray. It jsut gets that natural brown rust color.
