This is absolutely beautiful: colors and the slow movement of water you've captured estimulate meditation and tranquility. I am much impressed!

Three wonderful shots Susie. I love the main posting for the superb details in those rocks and the vegetation fringe on the left. I particularly like the motion of the water and it's gorgeous colour. I will slowly catch up with everyone bit by bit but I am struggling a little at present. I hope all is going well at THE CAFE and I am pleased that you still get out and about with your cameras. My very best wishes as always...Ray

Hi Efrain, I'm so sorry that it took me so long to get back to you. I couldn't find the photo on my hard drive...I'd named it something other than the name I posted it under. Arrgh! Anyway, here goes: Shutter 1 second F22 ISO 100 This was one of the first experiments with shutter speed I've tried and I was happy with the results! Thanks for you comments. Susie

Susie, these are wonderful colours. The framing of the green water with the foreground cedar is very effective. Great texture in the rocks! I think your choice of frame adds 3D to the entire composition. Eb

Hi Susie, Nice colour and texture to this image! I remember the colour of those mountain streams from our visits to the Canadian Rockies. And a nice little joke you played on your Brother-in-Law :) Andre

Beautiful scene Susie. I just love the green water and the curved flow is lovely. The vagetation framing the scene is perfectly placed and the rocks add a nice warmth. The waterfall shot is superb and the way you've placed yourself and Kathy in the other shot just looks so very natural. Great job Susie. All shots are fantastic. I'm putting this one into my faves cause I just love that pristine green water flowing around the bend like that and excellent composition.
Cheers - Ann :)

These are great. I think my favorite is "the other side". You did a great job capturing the movement of the water. Did you use a slower shutter speed to achieve that? It's really nice.
Your cut and past job is perfect too. It really looks like you are both standing on that rock.
:)Sheila

Beautuiful picture of what is before the falls... From up there, the water looks peaceful only a few meters before it falls rapidly down to another body of water. I have always wondered what is above the falls, this is a wonderful shot with good clarity showing the curve flow of the water... regards..

Wonderful shot Susie! Nice composition, the foreground branches works with the water to lead the eye into the shot. There is good contrast between the rocks on the cliff's edge and the backgrouond to give a sense of the depth of the falls...although I would have never guessed there was a 200' drop there!

Beautiful Place! We have a similar place here in my town, just withouth the falls. It is called the cold river, because the sun don't hit the water due to the abundant trees and the water is always very cold!! Waiting to see the remainder of the series!!

Beautiful capture of the corner in the woods. The rocks are great, shape and colours. The water has that special colour one can find only in the mountain streams, an unbelievable green! And I also like the far back right, beautiful patterns in there, the kind you see in an old painting.Very good job, Susie! Gabriela

Hi Susie, Great waterfall pictures. This one above has wonderful clarity and depth, and the color of the water is amazing! Also the rocks look like a giant turtle! I didn't realize how big those rocks are, until I saw you two in the other one (the humorous one) - it was great to give me a sense of scale. Beautiful capture with jewel tones of green! Best regards, Ina

Susie, nice view from the top side of the falls. Always good to see both ends but not always possible. I like the nice chromes of the water and the rich greens in the front plane. The stream is directed righ to the strong point of your layout maintaining nice flow of the composition. Cool, Cheers, n.j

This is a nice dedication, Sissy! I'm sure Denny will be pleased. He was right about this one...good post! The water color is really pretty, and I love the cedar branches for a "frame". And about that warped sense of humor that you mentioned...I'll second that! ;) Kath
