A very creative abstract! The few bright red spots stand in complete contradiction to the dark rest of the photo. They act as small color drops that catch they eyes of the observer. And the very unsharp background catches the curiosity - what is out there?
A photo that transmits mental turmoil - excellent!

I was going for "Alternate Perspective" so the designation of "Dramatic Portrait" was a mistake. Since seeing your post though I'll give it a shot at "Patterns In Nature". Thanks for pointing out the misclassification.

Great shot! The mixture of sharpness and bluriness, of shadow and light, of colour and monochrome - it really captures the mood and mystery of a rainy day in the city.

An absolutely great catch Jim for a 'Patterns In Nature' category instead of 'Dramatic Portrait' or was that just a little error on your part, but I would NOT call this an experiment because it is too good!
