Looks pretty confident but I wonder if he is just a little nervous strolling into the dancehall without a friend or two for mutual moral support. Good capture and crop Laura, B&W works excellent in this setting. Like the perspective in the lower part of this image, and the crop takes care of a naturel frame in the upper part.
