The directions of water flow over the small crudely made rock dam were confusing to look at for me, Mary, sometimes defying physical laws, and that was one of the reasons I photographed it. Another reason is that the water flowed in almost totally transparent sheets, very thin. I am glad it stimulated you as it did me, and I continue to like it. Thanks for commenting. Anson

This was taken standing in a small mountain stream, Nicola, with the water rushing around my feet. I was taken by the clearness and the refracted colors in the water. I like it too, and thank you for the nice comment. Anson
