Nice shot Anson . . . though I'm swimming against popular opinion I feel this might be a tad bit too soft. Then again . . . it does have this wonderful evocative feel to it. At any rate the crop and composition are very well done and the lighting is superb. This will convey an emotive impact to a lot of people. :)

To me, roses beg to be captured this way...soft focus, subtle color and light. Brings out the romance always associated with these beauties...well done Anson!
