That is wonderful my dear Aniko ! I had a small cat before I moved to a new house, we had to leave him there :( but, I hope very soon we would be able to have a dog, cause I love them too. I love all animals !!! When I was a kid my home was like a Zoo!!! LOL

Dear Riny:
The puma is not so much sad as angry.
These cats were bred in captivity and have a good life really. They are not in tiny enclosures and are very well cared for.

I do so love big cats, and I assure you the keeper of these pumas was right on the ball. I was honoured that he trusted me to get practically as close to these cats as only the keeper goes! Made me feel good. :)
If I can get the stupid slide scanner to work properly, I'll post a picture of the other puma! (That's the one that nearly "got" me...but it missed...) :)

You're right. Pumas are known to be quite angry! ~LOL~ These cats were bred in captivity so I don't feel their housing is cruel, since it's all they know and they are very well looked after.
It's just that the pumas have a certain "temperament".

Yes... an animal park to be precise. Pumas and other big cats are not native to Australia... other than the extinct Tasmanian Tiger... well, they might not be extint, but as far as I know, one has not been sighted in some 50 or more years!
