Thank You for the comment and I really am enjoying the D40 ... You've been on a wild productive spree my friend !! I keep thinking I am going to get caught up on all of your photo's and seems like I just fade away early these winter nights. Can't seem to get motivated... I am trying and I will soon:)

Hi Doyle, had to run off to a floral emergency... but I am back now.
Well it's definitely not my favorite photo either... but there are things a bout it I do like...
Yes, I am still loving the camera but so very much to learn... It'll keep me busy thru next year I think which is a good thing I suppose, just a bit over-whelming at times...
So sorry to hear You were sicko ... but happy You are back up and running again!

Hmmmmm . . . Like Nessa said. It doesn't appear to be silhouetted against the sun . . . but a dark cloudy, moody BG instead. I honestly don't care for the left side crop (at all) and the toning is not one that makes me think of happy.
That being said . . . looks like Tim marked it a fav . . . and it is a stark and evocative image. Besides . . . there isn't a photo yet that pleases everyone . . . as long as your own shots please you . . . and you keep shooting . . . that's all that counts! Gotta be lovin' that new camera by now . . . sorry I was ill and missed the debut! ;)
