You are so generous Doyle with such understanding comments about how I got the palm trees growing diagonal-- It wasn't easy either :)) This space just screamed for me to take pictures -- it was a SET- UP everywhere I looked - Paradise Perfect set-ups ..lol!!! Thank- you for not telling me I'm over-doing it-- I finally posted another local image tho and the spell will be broken again for awhile --ha!!

Now who could get tired of seeing images from paradise??
That said, I know how you feel . . . I have some more amazing shots of wildlife . . . but know people have seen me do that to death . . . so I sprinkle them in here and there when I just can't help myself! But really . . . these shots of yours are a great escape . . . and the only chance some of us get to even SEE Hawaii, much less go there!
Joe said it but I'll repeat, the red kayak in the front really helps make this shot. It balances the blue sky and blue water perfectly. Red contrasts with yellow real well too. Then the bonus complementary green color to accent the red further . . . Nice! And getting the palm trees to grow along a diagonal line JUST to help the composition along . . . Inspired!! LoL!

I wanted to say 2 things-- One- I would think that most people would be getting sick of the Maui scenes but they aren't.... I am thinking maybe because they don't really have spring yet (?) I really don't mean to bore anyone with them.
#2 is 'Thank You ' soooo much for the squirrel and rodent information- it certainly sounds like something worth checking into !!

Very nice beach scene Michele, I like the composition with the great colours, having the red boat upfront makes the shot. The palm trees are very nice too. Great sky. Very good work.

PS I was in the hardware store yesterday and I noticed they had a couple of devices to keep rodents away including squirrels, one was called Transonic Pro it emitted an ultrasonic sound. This device sold for $70.00 CDN = about $60.00 US There was another similar device sold by Victor. I no idea how effective these things are but it maybe worth looking into. Good luck.
