Thank You Paul !

We just got our power back on Paul. We had a hurricanne here on Thursaday evening and the entire city lost all power until about 3:30 this morning we got ours back on .. a terrible winter here so far , record breaking. I hope you are alright? You did mention broken water pipes from freezing weather.. that sounds awful too...

Take Care Paul,
Happy Holidays my friend,
Michele~

I like this shot and if you crop it just right it looks so much like a photo that I shot of one of my cats the other day! (dododododo) Strange....
Ill include my photo with this comment.
I like the composition on this one with the trunk of the tree and the folage showing and the over exposure works without loosing to much details!
Very nice Michele!

Intriguing pose for the kitty . . . and post processing work is also new for you. Like Robert said . . . it's good to see you trying new and different things . . . experimentation leads to gems now and then and helps us to grow. You certainly can get quite good . . . even great shots without a face in the composition . . . Your responses lately seem a little down . . . hope everything's all right! I liked both this image and the last one though they're very different . . . and your reaction seemed as though you were unhappy with them. :)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

There is nothing wrong with image Michele, non showing of the face do have it`s place. In this instance my interpretation is of a cat relaxing, watching the world go by.My comment was to say that you are getting more comfortable in your abilities to experiment out of the norm for you.
Nothing wrong in that.Sorry if you thought my comment was a negative responce,it wasn`t meant to be.
Take care
Robbie

He looks like a big boy. My wife and I call this cat posture "sitting fat". We used to have a cat, Ninja and he weighed 38 pounds.
I like the high contrast and sepia effect; excellent.
