Dave - Texas is fine. I live about 100-miles north of Houston. It is fun to visit Houston, but being the small town person I am, it is nice to get out of the "rat-race".
Good shooting.

Yes Scotland is a beautiful place what ever the weather, but always easier to get a nice picture when the sun is shining. This harbour is still a working harbour and with that comes the inevitable pollution – having said that there isn’t a lot of oil but a little goes a lot way on water. How’s Texas? I lived in Houston back in 2000 and always found it a friendly place.

Mr. Belts - I assume that Scotland is a fine location for a photographer. I would have not expected the basis for this shot. Nice composition. Where did the oil come from?
P.S. Greetings from Texas!

I'd leave it as is. Looks a bit like an oil painting gone askew. Gosh you're an intrepid soul to venture to Tarbert! Regards, Gary
