WOW Albert!
I love old keys, and I love your treatment of this image. I like the DOF. The cold hard metal (pin sharp), and the mysterious softness combine well in my opinion.
Very interesting and appealing shot my friend!
Best Wishes, Aniko :)

Hi Mike,
I understand what you mean, but main ingredients I wanted in this view are the metal of old keys (nice symbol) and that on a rough natural background like this stone. When I choose a less rough background (for example the opposite like a mirror) the complete atmosphere would be changed. So to my opinion it depend on the kind of view and atmosphere you want to realise. I just choose the mirror to clear my point of view. Between this there's a lot to experiment with, like DOF, angle, positions of the keys, colouring, tones and so on to optimize the result. Thanks for your comment, that helped me think about this more and get "sharper" what is my aim.

I will have to agree with James McGinnis about the depth. I could see how the background would be a bit busy, if the DOF was much greater, but perhaps it would be possible to set them against a less textured surface, so that even if it was in focus, the wear and tear of the keys would steal all the attention.
The focus on the tip of the key is great. In the past few days I've been focusing on the similar images, and love the look of worn metals. Keep up the good work.

I think I would like to see greater depth. The distant portions of the keys are out of focus and I think I would like the picture better if they were more clearly seen. I very much like the simplicity of the subject and I like the minimal background. Interesting shot.

Unique perspective. Love the DOF you used and the sharp angle of the shot.
