Jan: maybe the third (but not necessarily last) incarnation of the title is better...

AJ -- Some times the title makes a difference, sometimes it does not. I think this photo stands on its own merit but I would have titled it differently (perhaps: "The Little Engine That Could")... just kidding..... I love the contrast and color along with the eccentric quality about the drive shaft. The picture does give a sense of power but because it does NOT give a feeling of movement; the result is "static" or "kinetic". I personally think it is excellent; it borders on the edge of being over sharpened but I do not think you stepped "over the line". Conclusion: excellent shot, well composed, pleasing to view and it is interesting. --Best to you, Jan

ZAW!!!!! That red deep color... excellent cropped part of the train and also very nice lighting conditions AJ, shadowed and lighted parts connected with a....geometry way! Very good. hmmmm....perchaps I could give less 'air' to the right and put some more on the left just for better placing into the frame but that is not big deal. Excellent about quality and clarity at the nice details of the metal textures. Best regards!

Thanks so much, Doyle, but you seem to be very much of a minority on this one. In fact, I posted it once before a few days ago and it got precisely 0 views. But I saw it again yesterday still waiting in my upload queue and decided to give it another chance. Maybe it's just too subtle for the masses?! Or is it that title?

Wow. No critique for you on this one John . . . sorry . . . but I think it's perfectly composed and brilliant.
Uhhhhhh . . . that being said . . . the title bites. Still putting me to shame with the brilliant images my friend!
