And what a dragonfly! Aömost from an alien world, the nature of which you managed to put on an image keeing a very high fidelity, Dave! The atmosphere under the high contrasts and extremely well captured details is breath taking!

Most certainly the darkened background has a fantastic impact! As does the light coming from the right! I only wonder....just wonder.....could you up the left side and lower the right side without affecting the dragonfly shape (?)I just feel that a more of a diagonal line would add more of an artistic touch!
