I would throw myself into the arms of the man climbing the ropes with long hair first dear - haha!!!!
I was thinking it would've been nice to have someone near me or use the tripod to take a picture with a real person next to them tho :))

I agree with You dear John ... the first one really did look soooo real.. the closer I got to these guys the less real they looked ...The wax museaum would be a Perfect place to capture an image ...do you have one ?
We have one but in San Fransisco and a small one not too far from where I live so maybe I should go there myself -Haaa!!! It's Ripleys belive it or not sooo I am not sure anyone would know the people -ha!!!! But a good way to take a picture to look like a person as you say :))

hehehe... I think I must find things like that too LoL, it's perchaps the only way to take some portraits for my portfolio dear Michele hahaha...anyway, somehow the first shot the fake person looks even more real! don't know why but surely these kind of photos worths a lot, as the clothing is very special...and perchaps the only way to take shots from real people wearing these is at Holiwood...

Oh yes I saw his monument in Poverty Bay, near modern Gisborne this year in New Zealand.he sailed with his bark Endeavour.Accompanying Cook were Joseph Banks, the botanist, Daniel Solander, a naturalist, and Charles Green.Very captured and they look so real!!!

Its really strange, about 10-12 miles from here is a public house (bar) called The Anchor and they have a "muckey" pirate outside. Could the pirate you found and my pirate be related?
