Hello Michele,

Excellent floral, with great use of DOF. Your POV is perfect. You learn really fast.
I think this shot is also good for a square crop, so I added an example, hope you don't mind.

Thank You for your lengthy and flattering comments :) I am soooo sorry to hear about your lack of rain , and continued droubt--- Because I am surrounded by so very much water I can't even imagine how your life is effected in so many ways with too much Sun-- It sounds so appealing but I know that we all need a balence of the seasons..

Truly a stunning capture with cheer and the wonder of Spring! Very nicely captured with, to my eye, perfect DOF and a general warm feel.

Here we have no sign of autumn yet! Not a single leaf is turning. Today was so very hot, just like summer. I don't think we'll get much of an autumn show this season, much to my dismay as a photographer.

Again I congratulate you on this super image!

What ? Remember more stuff again after my first DOF BG blur shot ?????? Well--Ok, maybe this is why the image looks a bit wierd as a thumbnail-- (?) I have to say I compare it to billiards for me-- when you see your ball sink before you hit it ! Ha !! The games of 'Focus' I love it ... and rule of thirds .

NAILED the DOF on this . . . look at that wonderful BG blur. Just try to remember the rule of thirds. ;)
