Now that is the closest I have seen yet, Dave! Some day I hope to get one to hold still for me. The only one I've managed was caught in a spider web!

the bugs have incredible details and surely amazing colors and shapes into there eyes... we simple cannot seen these with our eyes, but with little help from a good camera and a macro lens we can see these amazing creatures, hahaha.... little bit closer and I could say that you have a special micro - lens that cost about a million dollars...
be well!

An extreme close-up of an "alien" world, and a great study of the insect. I find the complete definition of the subject really stunning again! And that with a max of 57mm!!! How close to the fly were you, Dave? It must have been very close, and so I guess that it took much much patience too!

The DoF looks limited to me, but I guess that this was the best one could do from that distance, or am I wrong?

Cheers!

Nick

Buena macro, buen detalle.

Yo también tengo algunas fotos macro de libélulas en mi colección. Me encantaría que les echaras un vistazo y me dijeras qué te parecen.

Gracias y un saludo,

Alejandro.
