I had really hesitated to even post it - but there is beauty in all of nature sooo this is why it is here -
I am just used to so much more rain type of forest - more growth since I have been in Oregon altho I complain about the rain and cold- and I do love the warm weather there are good and not so good in each place :))

Excellent capture my dear Michele. I like the composition from the trees on the top from this wall. I love the whole scenery! Simple nature capture with great tones and details my dear girl!! A pleasure for the eyes and relaxation for the mind:))
I agree with Srna...I guess it is not easy to come back where it is cold aagin!!

Hello my dearest Srna - Thank You for the very kind comment about the 'not so lovely' landscape - haha!!
Oh well you can't have everything in one place I suppose - both climate and beauty - or rarely that I do know of .... but in my dreams only :))
It was not easy to return in some ways but in others it was also easier than I did think - the people and warm climate I love of course - BUT for photography - and where I was here it had been a drought for some time :(( the other times I was in a big city sooooooo only for this reason it was mixed emotions -

Excellent control of exposure my Angel ... so very fine light, details, colors and textures ... you know how much I do love palm trees also cause of warm climate, it must have not been easy for you to come back to cold and rainy Oregon ... and I really love the atmosphere I can feel jumping out from your image ! :-)

You are so sweet - Thank you for your kind comment - I feel like you about the tropical climates and I say this because the temps actually were in the 90 degree range here -
Ca. has a wonderful warm climate that I do miss but I think to photograph I love the Oregon coast to make a better image - lol!!
But being a native Californian I can say this:))
I appreciate your comment also because I was very un-sure of even posting it -Yikes !!!

Dear Michele, I have no idea how to make this a better image. Only a lot of ideas how to make it worse :-)
I love to see the palms reminding me to a warm climate, but also the outcrop has my interest. All these rock layers will show a track record of so many stories of past vegetation and past climates. Thank you for sharing, I like it so much.
