Thanks a lot, Marcio! Indeed a food idea! I think that a combination of less exposure and perhaps also keeping the ceiling out of the DoF could work very well. I tried to simulate that by a (quick and dirty) burn of the ceiling (attachment) and it seems to work well.
I find it very unteresting since Saad's impression was that the roof's details are enough but just at the boundaries of too little. So, we have two diametrically opposite points of view about this one, Saad's and yours. Which is always very interesting to have.
Thanks a lot!

Sorry Nick..my mistake, I mean not " a higher contrast" ..I wanted to say a DOF without the details of the roof .. However I think the picture is perfect as it was drawn up and implemented, congrats.

I am glad that you like it Paul, especially because your reasons come quite close to mine for that.
Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment and even more for the suggestion, Marcio!
How could one get more contrast here? Any ideas? (I mean at shooting time with camera/lens.) Higher ISO?
Cheers!

Thanks a lot, Aziz!
Completely sharp focus was not really my aiming here. Still I wonder what it would be to have it competely sharp but leave it unchanged otherwise. I think that it wouldn't lose the attitude I wanted it to have, but let me try it in sharp focus again.
Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment, Saad!
Technically, I don't know of it would be possible to use less exposure for not overburning the clock and at the same time keep some details of the roof. I must see what it looks like with some less exposure.
The look of the "vanishing" time is good for me, though. I am rather inclined to say that it could be better if it had only the clock-arms but no lines for the hours/minutes.
Cheers!

The symmetry is excellent, Nick and the whole mood created here with the blown out details of the clock face makes this really wistful for me.

Beautiful composition. I think with a higher contrast the lights still gain a greater emphasis I like the clock without details that interacts with the lights of the middle row , hugs Nick.

well nick, hello a nice idea and composition realized. the number of lamps and cables have created a good game and dynamic perspective of the scene. the texture created by film and scanning, in this case, are pleasing and increased the dramatic effect together with the almost blank shot "of clock" have anice time, cheers roby

a great composition, and a very difficult one in this type of lighting, with this huge perspective, though there are little details in the roof, but it is enough, cause one could know what is there further,it is just repetition of the same shapes, the only thing that I critique is that the watch have no fine details, that would turn the shot into a winner in any time and place, cheers, Saad.
