About A triple exposure for a bit of disorientation. Any comments would be very welcome.

Modern bridge

City lines

Two chairs and a blank message

The house behind the horizon

Buddies

Think of a drink

The door and the grape

... that were only the results ...

Direction upwards

Into the wilderness

Oh, thanks a lot Visar! Now I got you right!

Indeed, the straightened line introduced much more "orientation" into the image. And it seems also much more noticable in your attached version. I think of another one of this kind but trying to hold the line vertical for seeing what the result could look like then.

Thank you very very much!

Ni Nick,

what i meant with 90° was to have the marked line, as on attachment, with the bottom. it looked to me like somewhere between dizziness and non-forgetfulness of being, where all the world spins around and yet you feel its presence!

anyway, i am attaching here two versions of the image for discussion or comparison to original.

cheers,
v.

Muy buen abstracto!, muy buen ojo para observar las sombras!, excelente la composición aprovechando las líneas rectas que forman las sombras.
Felicitaciones!

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment, Visar! I am very glad if the intended disorientation works.

Actually there is an additional less visible but I think also important thing that causes that. It is the steps that you can see if you look a bit more closely. They extend almost parallel to the almost vertical shadow stripes on the bottom of the image. They mix up a bit more of that kind of "where am I?", I think.

Many thanks again and cheers!

Nick

P.S.: Oops, almost forgot: You mean a 90° rotation like on the attachment?

Rotated 90° to the right after Visar's suggestion.

And hopefully also to your observing conscience, Marta.

Thanks a lot.

well, you have gotten it right Nick- quite dissorienting it is. i initially thought it is a single exposure, focusing on the shadow of stairs and bars on the upper left corner!

the perspective here is disturbing somewhat to me, for it is twisted and irregular to how i naturally would perceive; that is due to the baseline (groundline) that starts in the middle of the picture and lingers up to the edge of the frame.
perhaps a 90' angle would satisfy me! adding to it the abundant scale of gray tones, which have generated an attractive texture.

cheers,
v.
