I think this worked very well. An image that keeps your attention. I wonder if it is better of worse for the flaws in the marbles and if totally smooth/shiny would hae been better/worse?
But you know, with your recent upload, I'm now wondering if you started with a straight, flat photo of yourself and created all of the ball effects in photoshop??

Hi Matej, thanks for the comments again. I cropped it that was as I thought it was better but I do have the larger version detailing all 3 marbles (you only see 2). It was not intentional to have my reflection in the marbles. I was in fact disappointed when saw the captures on my PC but again I say it to everyone with a digital camera, never look at your new captures the same day as taking them but try and leave it a few days after at least and you will see them with a fresh perspective. I have a few more that I may post from the same batch.

Creative idea! I like how the light plays on the marbles and the foil. As Joe said, the second reflection is a nice touch. Compositionally I would suggest to aim the camera just a bit more to the left to get the entire front marble into the image.
I think you could go for a series of several pics here, having different coloured marbles at the front, and perhaps also trying to use solid black or yellow or somesuch cloth in place of the tin foil to get a nonreflecting surface emphasising the reflections in the marbles.

Doh! - I wrote that in a hurry - here is the proper version!
Thanks Joe for your comments. There is not much to say really - it was taken in my back garden on a sunny day. I placed the marbles on a plate covered in tin foil, got in close and click. At first I was not impressed with my results but on refection (ha-ha) it found that may be there was something in it after all!

An interesting composition, the reflection in the second glass ball (marble?)adds more interest to the picture. Perhaps some info from the photographer would be helpful :).
